"The present seminar is about introducing of novel as a literary genre and the reasons behind emergence of novel, as the products of middle-class in 18th century. It deals with the different elements of a novel as well. A novel is a fictional prose narrative of considerable length (over 50,000 words) in which characters and actions are representatives of the real life portrayed in a plot. Daniel Defoe made novel come to existence, completely. He is the father of novel as a literary genre. The elements of a novel are plot, setting, character, theme, point of view and style.
