Abstract
The COVID-19 outbreak has had a huge influence on clinical microbiology laboratories in the past several months. understanding current issues and challenges for the laboratory diagnosis of infections caused by new coronavirus is essentially. In the pre-analytical stage, collecting the proper specimen at the right time from the right anatomic site is essential for a prompt and accurate diagnosis of COVID-19 and select the best method for diagnosis.
