Abstract

The principle of reciprocity is considered as a means for increasing rights enjoyed by foreigners in the territory of the state, and realizing equality between them and their nationals, citizens or subjects in the field of the legal position or status of foreigners. It is worth-bearing in mind that this principle is sub-categorized according to the source from which it is established, and in conformity with its content or context. This principle is arising from three main sources, that is to say, international treaties and conventions, legislations and both the judiciary and customs.
