Abstract

Cracks appear in concrete structures due to different Causes. Cracking of concrete can happen in its plastic stage and or after hardening stage. In this presentation the common types of cracking shall be illustrated with their most probable reasons and how we can reduce them. The main reference of this presentation is the publication of the American Concrete Institute (ACI -224.1).
