Abstract

The social constructivist approach to translator training is an up-to-date teaching methodology that is effectively applicable to translating training programs. The current seminar aims at introducing this approach as a substitution to the traditional objectivist approach. Therefore, the differences and advantages of social constructivist approach over objectivist one will be presented, and its design and procedures will be explained as well.
