Abstract
"The Urban Renewal Strategy is a government strategy. Under this strategy, urban renewal is not a “slash and burn” process. A comprehensive and holistic approach should be adopted to rejuvenate older urban areas by way of redevelopment, rehabilitation, revitalization and heritage preservation.
The seminar will present the historical background, goals, and the main principles for this strategy, and in order to give a comprehensive overview for this strategy this seminar will discuss some of the international experiences for this strategy. "
