Abstract
Evolution of cell based therapies has played very crucial role in the corneal pathology treatments. Stem cells in the limbus have proven/considered to be the magic potion for the eye treatment. Epithelial and stromal stem cells in the limbal region of cornea hold the responsibility of replenishing the corneal epithelium and maintaining the transparency.
