Abstract
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a globally available satellite navigation system that offers precise location and time information in any weather condition, at any location on or near the Earth where there’s an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites. Operated by the US government, GPS is freely accessible to anyone with a GPS receiver. GPS functions by utilizing a network of satellites orbiting the Earth that transmit meticulously timed signals. These signals are received by a GPS receiver, which utilizes them to determine the receiver’s position, speed, and direction. GPS has become an integral part of contemporary life, finding applications in navigation, geolocation, and tracking. It has revolutionized the way we navigate, enabling effortless and accurate journey planning..
