RETRACTED ARTICLE: The Relationship Betweenkidney Stones and Dietary Habits

The Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Research and Reports in Urology wishto retract the published article.

Concerns were raised to the Editor in Chief that data presented in the published articlewas taken from the Master’s (MSc) thesis of Lana Omer Ahmed without the appropriatepermission or approval.

The issue was raised to the Head of the Physics Department (DPHY) at the Faculty of Scienceand Heath (FSCH) at Koya University, Iraq for investigation. It was confirmed that Ms Lanahad completed her MSc at the Physics Department of Koya University and the data presented inthe article was indeed the same data presented in her thesis. Specifically, the Editor inChief has confirmed the data presented in Tables 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 of the publishedarticle were taken directly from corresponding tables presented in the MSc thesis of Ms Lanawithout her permission. It was also determined that no acknowledgement was given to Ms Lanafor her contributions to the study.

The authors wish to apologise for this error.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will bedigitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted”.
