Abstract

Effective heterogeneous CeO2 nano catalyst was used for preparation of 1, 8-dioxo-octahydroxanthene derivatives in high yields, simple methodology and easy work-up. The catalyst is easily accessible, reusable and efficient under the reaction conditions.
