Abstract
The importance of modern structural elements that can meet architectural requirements, such as the study of tilted beams, was one of the essential points for intensive research and study to find and create a unique code for them after theoretical analysis and research of their behavior. The tilting angle is the main point of this theory, so it is necessary to study the behavior of tilted beams under the influence of more than one tilting angle to know the tilted beam's behavior during the tilting angle change. This research paper relied on the theory of levers to impose biaxial shear loads on the tilted beam in addition to the torsional moment. The study focused on studying the difference between tilted beams at an angle of 45 degrees and tilted beams at 60 degrees and comparing their resistance with standard beams. Static analysis was used in the finite element program ABAQUS. These results were presented and discussed in detail in the following paragraphs, which show the extent of the tilted beam’s ability to resist biaxial shear loads. Also, whenever the angle changes, the beam’s resistance changes. The angle has a noticeable effect on the beam’s resistance to twisting and bending moments.
