Abstract
contour graphs offer an easily understood graphical depiction of spatial changes between zones, they are valuable techniques for studying rainfall frequency and quality. To analyze the amount of precipitation and assess how it distributes throughout Iraq's governorates, this research works on producing a contour map of the country. The findings show notable differences, with the center and southern regions seeing significantly less precipitation than the mountainous northern and northeastern regions. These results underline the significance of contour mapping in comprehending climate fluctuations and the necessity of sustainable construction of infrastructure and water management, especially in areas with very little rainfall.
