Abstract

The economic crisis as a result of the coronavirus outbreak significantly affects financial reporting. Most of accounting and market regulators are preparing guidelines, some even issued, for transparent disclosure of economic impacts of coronavirus spread on financial statements of the companies. Such guidelines to direct companies to provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of the business situation under coronavirus spread are necessary to meet the reliability of financial statements. IAS 10 events after the reporting period, is one important international financial reporting standard that could affect the financial statements of 2019.
