Abstract

This study highlights and clarify the protective effect of Annona muricata fruit and Turmeric combination on CCl4-induced liver injury in male albino rats by following up the hematological and biophysiological parameters , the histological paraffin section of the rat liver treated with CCl4showed that most of the hepatocytes were degenerated that caused significant alterations in biochemical parameters. In contrast, the Annona muricata fruit andTurmeric combination treated group showed decreased degeneration of hepatocytes, and their epithelial cells appeared normal with few normal vacuoles ,which indicated that mixture of both can be used as a natural source of antioxidant.
