Abstract
This seminar explores the therapeutic effects of Centella Asiatica aqueous extract on ethanol-induced gastric ulcers in male albino rats. Gastric ulcers, often exacerbated by alcohol consumption, pose significant health challenges. Centella Asiatica, known for its anti-inflammatory and healing properties, was administered to rats with ethanol-induced ulcers. The study involved macroscopic and microscopic examination of gastric tissues, biochemical assays for oxidative stress markers, and histopathological analysis. Results indicate that Centella Asiatica extract significantly reduces ulcer severity, promotes mucosal regeneration, and decreases oxidative stress. The seminar will discuss these findings, emphasizing Centella Asiatica's potential as a natural treatment for gastric ulcers.
