Abstract

A chat bot is a computer application that simulates human-like, natural conversations with users through text and voice. It can also offer synchronous support and tutoring.
ChatGPT is a state-of-the-art chatbot based on Open AI's Generative Pre-trained Transformer-3 (GPT 3/GPT 4) family of large language models and has been fine-tuned using both supervised and reinforcement learning techniques. These AI-powered chatbots learn how to respond to user inquiries based on a vast human language dataset .
They can communicate with users intelligently, and continuously, learn from prior interactions, improve over time, and act as tireless language-learning assistants. Traditional chatbots, also known as rule-based chatbots, are based on a set of pre-defined guidelines extracted from external knowledge.
