Challenges Facing Students Toward ICT Library Adoption

The purpose of this study to find the main challenges facing students toward ICT library adoption and assess the level of Cihan university library Design/methodology/ the study uses a quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate and exam the model factors (Quality of Equipment, awareness of IT by students , electronic resource of library and Student Training,) and Students assessment to the academic library, The sample consists of 100 students from Cihan University-Erbil Findings: The result showed Cihan library own a good quality equipment and facilities, the students with moderate awareness of IT, however Cihan library suffering poor electronic resource such as e journal subscription, however Cihan library should pay attention more to library automation and provide students training and increase the students awareness for ICT library using , the study found main challenges facing Cihan library users lack of Electronic Resource and lack of students training.
